Held each year in February, The Rotary Reverse Raffle is always a sell out. Only 200 tickets are sold. Adjoining the raffle is a large amount of donated items up for silent auction through out the evening. Everything from Art, Science, heirlooms, clocks, golf, baseball, football, cookware, and collectibles is represented. Berea Rotary also sends a check to 10 other Rotary clubs around the country asking them to purchase an item with the money and return it to us for the auction. This has yielded gourmet cheeses, specialty wines, maple syrup and a host of other pleasant surprises representative of their area. Spring Plant Sale Flats and hanging baskets of flowers that welcome springtime are sold by the club during April and May. The plants are all locally grown. You have your choice from the entire greenhouse. Each year an estimated 3,000 plants are sold and distributed. Holiday Poinsettia Sale Just in time for the Holidays, Berea Rotary sells locally grown poinsettia plants. The beautiful plants come in a variety of colors and sizes. Each year an estimated 8,000 plants are sold and distributed. |
